Abstract:
The purpose of the study was carried out to examining the impact of safety and security on the hotel image. The specific objectives of the study were; to find out the effects of safety and security on a personal level and how it affects the hotel image, the safety of the premise on the hotel image and food safety and security and how it affects the hotel image. The study was to be of significance to government, the hoteliers and the entire hospitality industry and any other researcher who may be inclined to carry out a similar study
The study adopted a descriptive research design which was to establish safety and security associated with certain occurrences, outcomes, conditions or types of behavior. It also enabled the researcher to answer the questions of how, who, where, why, what and which. The target population was 75 and stratified random technique was used to arrive at a sample size of 60. Questionnaires were used to collect Data which was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively.
