dc.description.abstract The aim of this research project is to find out Effects of Communication Practices on Work Efficiency in the Banking Sector. Communication influences the performance of workers and determines the success of any organisation. The objectives of the study were to determine communication practices in place at the Barc1ays Bank, to determine factors that affect communication practices at the Barc1ays bank and to determine the extent at which these communication practices affect work efficiency at the Barclays Bank. The descriptive research design will be adopted in this research. The study will target a population of 90 employees of Barclays bank Narok stratified random sampling will be used as a method of selecting a sample size where by the researcher will take 50% of the target population to come up with a sample size of 45 respondents. In this regard the research instruments will be questionnaire's, the collected data will be analysed using percentage and presented using tables bar graphs and pie charts en_US
