dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT This study will analyse the factors hindering child protection policies implementation in Narok north Sub County. Child protection policy implementation is one critical area of child protection chain. It allows the amendment and implementation of the policies to organizations and the relevant stakeholders in the society. The study will be guided by the following objectives: To identify some of the causes of violence inflicted on children To identify and understand the legal and regulatory environment for children To understand the role that NGO’S and government agencies play in policy formulation and implementation. To identify the hindrances to the child protection policy implementation among the key stakeholders. The study will be based on the theory of change. Stratified random sampling technique will be used to select samples from the Sub Counties, and staff in these Sub County organizations. The unit of analysis will be the staff from child protection and support. A sample of about 20 respondents will be given questionnaires to fill. Data will be analyzed using the descriptive statistics. The Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) will be utilized to compute the statistics. | en_US |
