dc.description.abstract Abstract The researcher focused on the investigation of internet usage among the students of Maasai Mara University through a quantitative based research design. A questionnaire-based survey was done among 300 majorly through an online means which was very effective in accuracy, reliability and very comfortable to the students. The methodology employed in this paper was the analytical survey used to gather the most relevant information and most reliable information from voluntary participants. The research findings indicate that the students' level of awareness about the only services was fairly good and acknowledge that several students with the means of access to the technological facilities utilize the opportunity that they have at their hand. The students had good basic computer and internet skills; however, they lacked more advanced skills and this negatively affected their use of internet resources. The students used the internet for various purposes, including studying and researching. The major recommendations of the study include providing formal internet training and adequate facilities; implementing a better, inclusive policy on internet use; and better coordinated university efforts. Free internet access should be made available in major areas that the students find comfortable to study. en_US
