Abstract:
The main aim 0 f study was to analyze the current system used in MeriangeJ Institute of Technology in maintaining of computer labs and its resources. The survey was carried out to survey the contribution of web based technology towards enhancing effective, sustainable and reliable means of interaction between the computer labs technicians and the users of the labs (i.e. students and lecturers). The main purpose of the research was to assess the how manual and complex it is in attending to students and lecturers and computer maintenance by technicians in computer labs. It was found to be too manual and inconveniencing and thus the development of such a simple, easy to use, efficient and reliable system was necessary.
