dc.description.abstract Abstract: This paper is organized in such a way that, a brief overview and definition of strategies within companies, as well as literature review on strategies for achieving competitive advantage are presented. The main objective of the paper is to outline and discuss the strategies adopted by East African Breweries limited in achieving sustainable competitiveness in Kenya through a theoretical viewpoint. Therefore, in order to understand the determinants for strategy setting, secondary information was collected, and the data was compared and analyzed.
